Cor Media for Faith Formation

The Knights of Columbus developed numerous prayer and formation content artifacts for use by Cor gatherings as well as individual Catholic men for spiritual reflection. All of these artifacts may be directly applied in gatherings as written, but they can also be used as guides for Cor leaders can form their own original content for prayer and faith formation.

Prayer and Formation content includes:

· Into the Breach – a guide to help Catholic men and families live lives of faith and virtue in today’s world.

· Men of the Word – a program of bible study for conducting “Lectio Divina” or Sacred Readings, using Holy Scripture as prayer.

· Patris Corde – This series is based on St. Joseph and Pope Francis’ Apostolic Letter, Patris Corde, With a Father’s Heart.

· Booklets, devotionals and media from non-KofC sources – Expand your Cor gatherings of prayer and faith formation using media from other Catholic sources. These sources include but not limited to:

o Hallow

o EWTN

o The Vatican, featuring papal encyclicals and homilies.

o Catholic University and religious orders

o Publications from saints such as the Diary of Saint Faustina Kowalska – The Divine Mercy
