A disabled veteran and Council 8182 Brother Knight (pictured above in black jacket on right end) was in need of some help getting his yard ready for the forthcoming summer. At 8:00 AM on Saturday April 27 four Brother Knights and the spouse of one converged with the appropriate tools and equipment upon the disabled veteran's home. The yard work.....cutting the grass, edging the lawn, trimming shrubs, removing weeds and over growth on the rear bank, pruning rose bushes, etc.....was divided up. Within 2-hours everything was completed and the debris placed in garbage bags and hauled away. It was so nice to be able to come together as Brothers and provide the needed assistance to a Brother In Need who was most humble and appreciative.
