Faith In Action Around the State

On January 4, 2024, a very special Charity, Unity, and Fraternity exemplification was conducted by members of the Donald J Godfrey Council #6726 in Goose Creek, SC. While all exemplifications are special events, this one had even more meaning. On this evening, the youngest son of Jesse and Jessica Schuman, Cole, joined his father and two older brothers as a Knight of Council 6726! In attendance were his mother, Father, and both brothers, Zachary and Blake.

This family epitomizes putting their Faith into Action! All members of Divine Redeemer parish in Hanahan, South Carolina,  Jessica is a Catechist, Assistant Church Secretary, and President of the Women’s Club. Jesse is a Marine Veteran and in his final year in the Deaconate program! Zach became a Knight and immediate left for Marine Corp Basic Training and is still in the Marine Reserve.  Cole is also the family’s most recent Eagle Scout and plans on joining the Navy after finishing school. Blake is in his final year at St John Vianney Seminary in Miami, Florida! A few short days after Cole’s ceremony, Blake went back to the Seminary. Jesse, Zach, and Cole have all stepped up to fill 3 Council Officer positions for the next Fraternal year!
