On Saturday at 8:00 AM, a Holy Hour will be conducted at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, and those who can make it are encouraged to participate. The actual meeting start time is 9:30 AM, preceded by coffee and donuts. Lunch will be served around noon, and the State Council will cover the cost. The meeting will end by 3:00 PM. I have attached a copy of the current agenda along with a flyer for the Grand Knight’s Ball being held by our host Council 6847 on Saturday evening.
If you wish to arrive on Friday, we have a block of rooms at the Best Western Plus, 7525 Two Notch Road Columbia, SC 29223 at a rate of $94 plus fees. Reservations must be made by January 21 to guarantee the rate. The hotel is approximately 5 minutes from the St. John Neumann Catholic School.
There will be a hospitality room at the Best Western on Friday February 4, opened at 5:00 PM. This will take place in the meeting room on the sixth floor of the hotel.
Lastly, the State Deputy has adjusted the dress code for this meeting and all Council attendees are encouraged to wear a Council Shirt and pants, instead of the regular coat and tie. Please let your District Deputy know who is attending from your Council by January 25, so we can provide an accurate number for lunch. Please address specific meal requirements such as allergies, vegetarian, etc. to me directly.
